MEALS

Interestingly enough, on the Osa, one finds him or herself hungry nearly constantly! All meals are included on retreat and the cuisine is fresh, abundant, light and delicious with an emphasis on organic produce from local farms. The wonderful staff prepares daily local specialties and world recipes using only the freshest local ingredients. Thank goodness, as we EAT 4 times a day!

 

 

Enjoy a “first breakfast” of house-made granola and fresh fruit before yoga. After a vigorous asana practice, nosh on “second breakfast,” an AMAZING, shifting, changing, yummy selection of fresh quick breads, pancakes, eggs, beans and rice, quiches, and AMAZING COSTA RICAN COFFEE and smoothies! After a breather, a surf lesson, a walk, a nap, or a spa treatment, meet us for a lunch of fresh salads, sandwiches, local cheeses, and regional fare. For dinner, after a relaxing meditation and Anjali Restorative practice, savor an amazing healthy array of fresh vegetables, rice dishes, salads, and pastas. These are ALL artfully prepared, alongside fresh fish, organic chicken, incredible soups, and RIDICULOUSLY yummy fresh breads. Dessert is served EVERY NIGHT.

 

Though the focus is on vegetarian fare, fish and chicken are offered for those who prefer. Special Dietary needs are easily met with those who do not eat wheat, dairy, or sugar completely satisfied and thrilled at every meal. During retreats all meals are included. Throughout the day there is filtered water, teas, coffee, fruits and juices available.
